Rev. Dr. Margret Kalaiselvi

Rev. Dr. Margret Kalaiselvi is an ordained minister of the Church of South India and currently serves as the Principal of Tamil Nadu Theological Seminary . She holds an MA in Religion and Philosophy, an MA in Journalism and Mass Communication, and a Doctor of Theology in communication from TTS, where she also completed her BD and MTh.

Dr. Kalaiselvi has been teaching at TTS for 33 years in the Department of Communication, contributing significantly to theological education and leadership. Over the years, she has served in various capacities, including Chaplain, Coordinator of Women’s Studies, PG Dean, Vice Principal, Faculty Secretary, Director of the Dalit Resource Centre, Director of Rural Theological Institute, and In charge of the Church Women Programme. Beyond her institutional roles, she has actively engaged in social activism and has held various positions as Secretary of Arulagam, President of Inba Illam, and President of UYPA. Her extensive experience and dedication reflect her commitment to both theological scholarship and social justice, making her a pivotal figure in the seminary and beyond.
