Rev. Cruz Durai

Rev. S. Cruzdurai belongs of Church of South India and is ordained by Tamil Evangelical Lutheran Church (TELC), with 12 years of pastoral experience and five years of teaching experience.

He holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in History. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Theology (D.Th.) under SATHRI, with a focus on Communication.

Rev. Cruzdurai is a gifted preacher and is particularly known for his ministry as a convention speaker. He is also a singer and Dalit artist, using music and other forms of artistic expression to promote social awareness and engage with issues affecting marginalized communities. As a Dalit activist and grassroots programme organiser, he has been actively involved in community-based initiatives aimed at social awareness and transformation.

His academic and ministerial interests include Dalit Theology and Ambedkar Studies, with a particular concern for connecting theological reflection, communication, and grassroots engagement.
