Rev. Dr R.C. Tenson Hector

Rev. Dr. R. C. Tenson Hector is an ordained minister of the Church of South India, Diocese of Madras.

After obtaining a Master’s degree in Tamil, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and served as a Presbyter in the diocese for several years. Since 1999, he has been serving at Tamilnadu Theological Seminary as a Teacher of Tamil Language and Associate Editor of the Tamil Theological Book Club.

He completed his MPhil in Christian Tamilology at Madurai Kamaraj University and later earned his PhD from the same department and university.

Dr. Hector has translated around ten books in the fields of theology and scripture and has played a key role in editing more than thirty books on various subjects related to theological education in the vernacular language.
